So the third project we worked on was in Word. We were supposed to write a biographical poem.  These were fun.  It was quite interesting to see what the kids came up with.  Here is my version of the bio poem.

Hi again!  Just wanted to let you know what our summer holds.  We are learning about using Microsoft Powerpoint, Excel, and Word.  We are creating fun projects using all of the nifty buttons at the top of the screen (on the ribbon, it is called).  We will doing this throughout the summer.  I am sure we will be making some pretty cool things. So, the first project was to create memes using Powerpoint.  Here are a few of mine.  These were really fun to make.  The kids got so into it, they made 8-10 of them.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

So the second project we did was in Excel.  We designed some pixel art.  Again the kids got WAY into this one also.  They had lots and lots of designs.  Here is mine.  It is not too detailed, but was fun non the less.  I must admit – making it made me crave a nice, juicy hamburger!!
